Businesses/Builders
Aging-In-Place Remodeling has been hired to perform consultation and/or construction by many businesses including restaurants, athletic clubs, retail centers, industrial complexes, and other building contractors. We will go into your facility/housing development and perform a complete evaluation of your ADA compliancy and point out any areas that may present problems for the elderly and/or disabled. All too often businesses wait for an accident to occur before seeking our advice, by being proactive and seeking an evaluation early you will be able to avoid possible litigation and negative publicity. Aging-In-Place Remodeling will write a report that describes our findings and the costs involved in bringing areas of deficiency up to current ADA mandates.

Aging-In-Place Remodeling works directly with other homebuilders/General Contractors to help add value to their projects. During the construction process we will provide consulting and/or perform the construction necessary so that the project being worked on will be ready for the needs of the aging marketplace in the future. When a homebuilder considers such items as wood backing in the proper locations for future grab bars, plumbing fixture placement, kitchen design, and home access during the construction of a home it can add tremendous value to their project. When it comes time to
sell that home the homebuilder will be able to assure the prospective buyer of the homes ability to adapt to a homeowner’s needs as they age. This type of foresight will set the tone and give the buyer confidence they are purchasing a well-thoughtout home that was constructed with care.

We are a dealer for a great many products that are associated with the “aging in place” market (i.e. barrier-free showers, walk-in tubs, grab bars, shower pans, etc.) and work with builders/architects/contractors to secure the best possible pricing when purchasing multiple quantities.

This photo represents a typical business, in this case a restaurant, which needed to meet ADA guidelines during a remodel and called AIPR to completely retrofit the restrooms and bring them up to current specifications.
